    If you're after a custom event, pricing can be dependant on a number of factors including length of hire, how many people at your event, what's being served and other variables.

    Get in touch with us and we can put together a price for your event.

  • Dry hire is simply hiring the bar on its' own without supplies or staff included.

    We have a base rate for Dry Hire. that can be viewed here. The length of hire, additional staff and extras can be included at an additional cost

PRICING & INCLUSIONS

  • The International is a dry hire mobile bar. This means that we do not sell alcohol, however we can serve it. A liquor license is required to sell alcohol.

    You do not need an event liquor license when you are supplying alcohol to a private event, as long as it is not open to the public.

  • We can provide your event with incredible bar staff and we'll let you know how many you'll require based on your event numbers.

    Alternatively, you can use a catering company to provide staff however please note the staff will need to be approved/inducted prior to your event.

    Our onsite hire manager will work with your catering company at your event to get the team up to speed with The International set up and features.

  • The International has a fully-fitted commercial bar complete with dishwasher, stainless benches and shelving, two sinks with hose taps, lockable glass-fronted fridges and liquor display shelving.

    The International can happily house up to 4 bar staff.

  • The International is kitted out with an indoor/outdoor BOSE sound system that connects via bluetooth.

    The outdoor speakers are on both sides of The International providing flexibility and variable volume across the bar and surrounding area.

    We have a dedicated iPad that can be used on the day to play your tunes (and save your phone being out of action for the day!) via Spotify.

    The bar also has a range of playlists curated to suit any event. You are also more than welcome to use your own playlists that can be imported before your event starts.

    As for lighting, The International has a fully customisable interior/exterior lighting system, that can be coloured to suit your events' scheme.

  • Yes, we have insurance for damage to The International. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more information on bonds and excesses.

    The International does not hold public/product liability insurance. Therefore, use of the bar is at client's own risk.

    All licenses, permits, and insurance required by your venue must be obtained by you.

    Events held on council properties such as parks or lake-fronts will require permission from the local council.

    If you are unsure if you require one, we're happy to help get the ball rolling and can help you contact the relevant council for more information.

ABOUT THE BAR

LOGISTICS

  • The International is available to hire throughout the Whakatipu Basin.

    We are able to travel further afield, however a per-km fee will apply. Any events outside of Queenstown have a minimum hire period.

  • The International has an exclusive lounge that can seat up to 8 people comfortably.

    The entire length of The International is 9m x 3m wide. Awnings out both sides of the bar extends the space and creates an area of up to 100sqm.

  • The International has it's own water supply with tanks. That being said, depending on the size of the event and if it's required to use the commercial dishwasher, water may need to be replenished via tap.

    As for power, mains power is preferred however The International can run from a generator set up.

    Being a full commercial bar, The International requires a consistent power source.

  • The International is available for short or long term hire.

    Typically, a private party or wedding can be up to 6 hours including set up and pack down.
